Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Learn German Quiz : A1 - B2 app ("Application") for mobile devices, created by Suifox Studio ("Service Provider") as a free service. The Application is provided "AS IS".

Information We Collect

Automatically collected

  • Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Device identifiers, including the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), where you consent
  • App usage data — screens visited, features used, quiz activity, time and date of use, session length
  • Device type, operating system and version
  • Approximate (coarse) location, derived by advertising partners from your IP address for ad delivery
  • Crash and diagnostic data

The Application does not collect precise GPS location.

Information you provide

  • If you choose to sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive and store the name you share and an anonymous account identifier. You may use the Application without signing in.
  • Your chosen display name and learning progress (XP, level, streak, completed questions, speaking scores), which are stored to sync across your devices and to power the leaderboard and friend features. Your display name and level are visible to other users on the leaderboard.
  • Purchase and subscription status if you buy a Premium subscription. Payment is processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

How We Use Information

To operate and improve the Application, provide account and cross-device sync, run the leaderboard and friend features, process subscriptions, display advertising, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

The Application uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

Advertising and Tracking

The Application shows ads via Google AdMob. On first launch you are asked, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and a consent form, whether to allow personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized and your advertising identifier will not be used for tracking. You can change this later in your device Settings.

Data Sharing

We share information only with the third-party service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf, and where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users or the public.

Data Retention and Deletion

Account and progress data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the Application, or by emailing dev.elalouani@gmail.com. Uninstalling the Application stops further collection on that device but does not delete data already stored on our servers if you created an account.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact dev.elalouani@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact dev.elalouani@gmail.com.

Premium Subscription

The Application offers an optional Premium auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual, with a free trial where offered) that removes ads and unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; the Service Provider does not receive or store your payment card information. We do receive and store your subscription status (active, expired, trial) via RevenueCat and Apple, linked to your account, so Premium features are available across your devices. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
